I love it! Leopard print.... I have subtle accents of it throughout my entire house. From face towels to throw pillows, bed linens to our living room rug. It used to have such extreme types associated with it- Super ritzy or just plain tacky. But these days the print can be so refined, classy, and subtle if its used tastefully. Whether in the home or as an accessory I'm loving all the options!

Mount Desert Island,Acadia National Park

My hubby and I enjoyed a great long weekend with my family at the end of August. We all met at a beautiful house in Bar Harbor, ME. I posted about Bar Harbor a couple months ago in anticipation and yet again we left the island with a whole new treasury of memories. Here's a look at the natural beauty of Acadia, hard to capture but worth a try..

While my camera was acting up 

(The settings got switched somehow so the contrast is a little extreme)

you can see that the sky is this clear and intense blue!! And the woods are so green and lush! Along with the signature scents~salty sea water, balsam, and campfires~ Its really a magical place.

Flowers and Baby Girl

A couple weeks ago I was at my favorite local farm stand. They had this beautiful bunch of flowers for sale. The colors were so vibrant and bright, I couldn't resist. And at only $5 who could blame me!?! 

Soo pretty!! The perfect transition from Summer to Fall..

I also worked on a vintage inspired hat for Baby Girl. 

I found this sweet little hand-knit beanie hat for 50 cents 

and gave it a few small accents..

Pretty cute. I can't wait to see her in it!! So soon..

I plan to watch my dvds of the Gilmore Girls with a hot cider and caramel corn as soon as the leaves start to turn!!! If you've never seen the show now is the perfect time of year to start!

Autumn Fever

I'm so pleased that Autumn is just around the corner. Don't get me wrong, I love and will miss Summer. However the warmth, coziness, and festivity in the Fall is so wonderful!! Home-made apple pie, pumpkin spice coffee, mums, pumpkins, layered clothes, boots....hmm. What else...SO much!
As I browse for Fall inspiration the anticipation grows. Cozy up and take a look!
