Oh how fun that's going to be! I have an armoire that I've had for many years, it was pine and looking sort of 90's but it was well made and solid. I bought some appliques from a site called Do it yourself Chic, glued them and painted it white. I also added glass knobs and decoupaged toile fabric on the inside...it looks so much better now! I know everyone's using that Annie Sloane chalk paint these days but it's really expensive so I just buy the cheap stuff at Home Depot:)

ReplyDeleteI love the first, black armoire! And funny, but I liked the armoire from The Clever Chic better in its rusticness before she painted it. Furniture makeovers are about as fun as seeing people makeovers! Excited to see what yours turns out like, friend. :)
